Update: Capital Construction at HWDSB

April 15, 2026

The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) is committed to providing safe, modern, and well-maintained learning environments that support student achievement, staff well-being, and community use. Continuous investment in school facilities is a key part of this commitment, ensuring that schools remain in spaces where learning can thrive today and into the future.

HWDSB is pleased to share that work is moving forward for the new Binbrook and Waterdown Elementary Schools. These projects represent an important investment in a growing community and will support students from Kindergarten through Grade 8.

These initiatives are supported by provincial investment and reflect our ongoing commitment to providing modern, high‑quality learning environments that meet the needs of students and families now and into the future.

As the projects progress, we’ll continue to share updates and opportunities to learn more.
